Map-Chronology

Found by clicking on the ‘Map-Chronology’ tab in the main menu, the Map-Chronology situates events in time and space in order to contextualise the frontier between European, European-American and European-Australasian people and the indigenous inhabitants of North America, Africa and Australasia. It displays individual events in the foreground and in the information bar on the left of the screen. At the same time, a shaded background on the map displays long-term fluctuations in settlement, contact and political control.
